About me

Bilingual web developer in Creedmoor, North Carolina.

Hola, I’m Alex

I moved to the United States from Mexico as a teenager and spent years working more than one job at a time. In 2019 I joined Code the Dream as a front-end student and grew from apprentice to lead WordPress developer.

Today I build sites for nonprofits, foundations, clinics, and local organizations. By day that’s at Code the Dream, and I take on a small number of independent projects.

Off the clock, I’m with my family and Pepper.

Who I work with

Nonprofits, small businesses, community groups, and people with an idea they’re ready to share. Maybe your site is hard to update, it’s showing its age, or you don’t have one yet.

Budgets are often tight. A small budget shouldn’t mean a website you’re embarrassed to share, so we focus on what matters most and build that well.

What I care about

Sites for everyone

Readers in Spanish, screen readers, and older phones all get the same experience.

Sites you can run

You shouldn’t need me to change a phone number. Your team can update it with confidence.

Straight answers

What’s possible, what it costs, and when something isn’t worth the money.
